Bathwick Tyres are looking for candidates that has a desire to succeed.

We are looking for adaptable individuals to become an Assistant Manager.

Assistant manager is a very important member of our team helping to deliver excellent levels of service to our valued customer’s. 

Previous tyre fitting experience is essential. All Candidates must have a practical can-do attitude.
The ideal candidate will must a flexible approach to tasks and be able to manage their own workload, delivering great customer service and, ideally, will be competent in basic vehicle maintenance in a busy retail environment in an automotive setting. although full training will be provided.

You will receive all the training and support to ensure that our customers receive nothing but the very best service from our professional team and to ensure that you are competent and confident in your new role. 

The main objective of the role will be to Assist/Manage the depot in a safe and efficient manner.
The successful candidate will be part of a small team, but should be equally happy working on their own and should take a great degree of pride in carrying out tasks to an extremely high standard.
Supported by the management, you will complete a full Colleague Induction, including training to Bathwick Tyres Standards attending relevant training sessions when necessary. 

Whether you’re an experienced Tyre Fitter Technician looking for the next step, or someone who knows the fast-fit business inside out, will ensure that you have everything you need to make your branch a success.

Main responsibilities:

  • Develop relationships with a wide variety of customers and clients.
  • Work closely with the Head Office and senior team members to ensure all forecasting is realistic and targets achieved.
  • Recruitment and retention of Depot staff
  • lead and motivate a team
  • Completing documentation in line accurately with required company standards
  • Awareness and understanding of Health and Safety practices, compliance and other industry related measurements
  • Comply with all Company’s Policy & Procedures
  • To comply with reasonable instructions by the Company
  • To increase sales of products and services offered by the Company, in accordance with procedures
  • To wear uniform provided by the Company, maintain and keep a smart personal appearance
  • To be available for work at the times specified by the Company
  • To liaise with customers in a professional, courteous and enthusiastic manner as and when required
  • To ensure the company image of professionalism and quality of service is maintained at all times.
  • To operate and maintain equipment and keep work areas in a clean, tidy and safe condition
  • To maintain a high level of competence on all work undertaken
  • To ensure all vehicles are thoroughly examined and to advise if additional work is required on a vehicle and seek assistance and authority in the rectification of fault 

Requirements for the role:

  • Experience of working in a successful tyre fitting operation covering all types of vehicles from cars and vans.
  • Good people management skills combined with the ability to ensure excellent customer service is maintained at all times.
  • Excellent communication skills with a positive attitude
  • Good at organising in a fast-moving environment

Typical duties for our Staff include:

  • Delivering excellent Customer Service
  • Free Safety checks (inspections regarding brakes will be supervised)
  • Replacing tyres, completing puncture repairs and wheel balancing
  • Wheel alignments
  • Battery Replacement
  • Brake Replacement
  • Replace Exhaust systems
  • Ensuring Bathwick Tyres workshop standards are maintained at all times
  • Working in accordance with workshop health & safety requirements.
  • Completing all administration to company requirements
  • Carry out each job within the agreed time frames
  • Happy to work unsupervised

Reporting directly to the Depot Manager the ideal candidate will have a flexible approach to tasks and be able to manage their own workload, delivering great customer service and, ideally, will be competent in basic vehicle maintenance in a busy retail environment in an automotive setting. although full training will be provided.

You will receive all the training and support to ensure that our customers receive nothing but the very best service from our professional team and to ensure that you are competent and confident in your new role. 

The main objective of the role will be to fit tyres in a safe and efficient manner.

The successful candidate will be part of a small team, but should be equally happy working on their own and should take a great degree of pride in carrying out tasks to an extremely high standard.
Supported by the Depot manager, you will complete a full Colleague Induction, including training to Bathwick Tyres Standards attending relevant training sessions when necessary. 

Job Responsibilities:

  • To undergo training and attending courses as and when required. Be Keen to learn and develop
  • To fit any product specified by the Company to customer vehicles and carry out a range of ancillary services to customer vehicles
